OK I almost forgot I had this blog. Maybe I will start posting here again, but take it to a medieval level. I still have my ETSY store, and I am back as a Stampin' up demonstrator, but only as a hobby demo. I have a monthly scrapbook day but that is all. I am now a stay at home mom, which is different from being unemployed. At least in my mind anyway. The craft business is not really happening. With all that has happened in the last 5 years, there is really no venue to have people pay what handmade crafts are worth.
But I must CRAFT! so I do for myself. But I have been getting together with my nearest and dearest friends to do some medieval artsy craftsy stuff, and I have gotten really inspired. So maybe this blog will change to a medieval craft blog. Something to think about.
Since the last writting of this blog I have become almost obsessed with Ottoman embroidery. So I always have a project I am working on. I have an A&S display I am working on from the favors I made Orlando, Eric and I for Pennsic. I am also working on a fleece to frock project. I have a raw fleece from a black welsh mountain sheep and am making it into a dress, and A&S display and maybe a class.
I also have a mission to make our common area at Pennsic more period. That won't be easy. But that what Dunellen Stronghold is supposed to be all about.
